Account Clerk/ Admin Position

Position: Accounts Clerk/ Administration

Company Overview

Retaining Solutions is a civil construction company that builds Retaining Walls and is involved in Earthmoving Plant Hire. We are involved in large infra-structure projects Australia wide.

Retaining Solutions Design Construct Pty Ltd has been operating for 10 years. The company employs approx. 40 workers & some casuals/ labour hire staff as required.

Role of Accounts Clerk/ Admin

Full time position; Flexible with hours for right candidate. Office is located in Castle Hill.

Role will involve accounts administration; payroll support; reception duties; maintaining electronic & hard copy of records/ archiving; claims administration; assisting with statistical reporting; administration support to Managers/ Director.

Role is supported by Bookkeeper and external Accountant.

Specific Duties;

-       Manage inbound calls

-       Manage purchase orders/ delivery dockets & invoices

-       Entry invoices on MYOB (accounts payable)

-       Filing; making & maintaining job files (Engineers)

-       Following up aged receivables & release of retentions

-       Assisting with payroll (crew fortnightly)

-       Claims administration (plant hire claims assistance)

-        Fuel log follow up & separating fuel for diesel credits

-       Management Meeting minutes & chasing follow up

-       Maintain electronic & hard copy of records

-       Assisting with ground crew recruitment & induction

-       Administrative management of tools & equipment register

-       Assisting with plant approvals/ paperwork & employee induction paperwork

-       Accommodation & flight booking for away jobs

 

Skills and experience

MYOB skills or doing a course where learning accounting basics

Intermediate skills MS Office

Good verbal & written communication skills

High attention to detail

Ability to multi-task & prioritise
