Full-time Accounting Assistant Norwest Business Park We are a long established small business services firm looking for a motivated accounting assistant to join our team. Our client base consists of SME's and high net worth individuals. As well as a friendly team environment you will benefit from close mentoring from senior staff, ongoing technical training and premises located close to public transport. Basic accounting duties required include: · Assist in compilation of client’s source documentation for processing including photocopying, scanning and filing · Data entry of bank statements into excel worksheets and accounting software · Bank reconciliations · Preparation of personal client income tax returns · Preparation of business and instalment activity statements to review stage · Other adhoc accounting functions Training will be provided internally where necessary for the above role. The successful applicant must have current qualifications with a minimum of Cert III in Accounting, basic knowledge of MYOB accounting software, Excel, Word and basic typing skills.
