2.     The MYOB class on Wednesday 1st June has been extended, and on this day (only) the lab will be open from 1pm-5pm.

3.     In June our WIKI site will be decommissioned (closed) and this announcement system will no longer operate. A new Moodle site (open to guests, no login required) is being setup. When it is ready it will be announced here.

Cert III students - Baulkham Hills

This is a friendly reminder for Cert-III Accounts Admin students both day and night. We have noticed that for several units there is no work being submitted, and in some classes no students turned up at all.

If you do not take all of the units then you cannot complete your course this semester. You will be able to take the units you miss next semester, but this will delay your studies.

So…

If you have not already done so could you please access the latest timetable (which has been released for several weeks now) and make sure you are taking all of your classes? See the earlier WIKI announcements for the timetable link.

Night Students – this week (week 12) your Monday night and Wednesday night classes start (BSBFIA302, FNSACM302/2).

Day Students – your Monday group for FNSACM302/3 starts very soon.

Night + Day Students – please see your Tuesday day, or Tuesday night lab teacher(s) – make sure you are taking all of the units you need and that you are submitting.

Thanks.

FNSACC303 - financial calculations

If you are studying FNSACC303 Financial Calculations – today is the due date for submitting your portfolio of work to your teacher (based on the textbook materials).

You need to attend your computer lab to complete the ‘Task’ and ‘Project’. The Task involves calculations (bring your calculator). The Project is Excel-based. Remember, you cannot use your phone as a calculator.

Day Students – attend the lab at 1pm on Tuesday 3rd May.

Night Students – attend the lab at 6pm on Tuesday 17th May (we moved this back to avoid clashing with other units).

Note the two groups will receive different assessments – you should attend either day or night depending on your normal enrolment.

Updated Timetable - Baulkham Hills TAFE

Hi All,

A new timetable has been uploaded to the Moodle documents site.

A few pointers…

1.       The pdf will require v10 or later of Adobe reader to open (it’s free, so why not update yours?). Currently Adobe is up to v11 or higher.

2.       The Cert-III timetable is now fixed for the final classes (payments, receipts, etc…) so Cert-III people please pay careful attention to the new timetable.

3.       There has been a tiny (1-week) change to the Night Cert-IV Accounting/Bookkeeping group. 1 extra week on BSBFIA401 has been added.

As always, the link is below – remember to select ‘login as guest’.

Chris.

p.s. I don’t email you at 1am, that’s just when the auto-email annoucement thing does what it does :)
