Student book list for Semester 1 2013

TEXT BOOK LIST FOR 2013

 

 

The booklist is now available. Refer to the link under reference documents. Please be careful to buy only the books for units that match your course and individual learning plan for Semester 1,2013 that has been completed in conjunction with a teacher. Check whether the book is for a core or elective unit that you will be studying in Semester 1, 2013. If you intend on applying for RPL do not purchase the textbook. We recommend checking the supplier’s policy as to returns and exchanges for books before removing any packaging or writing in the books.

Summer School - Complex Spreadsheets BSBITU402A

If you are a current (paid-up) student and would like to take a unit across the summer period, BSBITU402A Develop and Use Complex Spreadsheets is available.

 

You will work self-paced through the material and the first assessment, across the summer period, working from the prescribed textbook and using the Moodle instructions and video files (etc.), and then upon returning to TAFE next February you can continue with the final two assessment events.

To enrol, email from your TAFE student email account to cxaccountingfinance@tafensw.edu.au requesting the enrolment key and Moodle link.

Naresh  Sood of VJ Accounting & Taxation Services is looking for an accounting student to fill a potential part time role in his accounting practice in Norwest.   Are you interested?

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Experience in using MYOB

·         Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

·         Understanding of preparing Income Tax Return

·         Eagerness to learn and develop their accounting and Taxation skills.

·         The role includes reception, Office administration, data entry etc. This is initially a part time position.

 

On the job training will be provided.
