MYOB ACCOUNTING COURSE

Do you work in the Financial Service Sector?

Do you run your own business?

Is it time you learnt how to do computerised accounts?

 

**In order to enrol in this course, it is a requirement that you have hands-on knowledge

of manual bookkeeping and computers**

 

 

COURSE INFORMATION

 

 

Information & Enrolment Session – Wednesday 4th April 2012 10 am

 

Course Commencement Date – Wednesday 2nd May 2012 (for 8 weeks)

 

Attend Course on – Wednesdays (9.15am to 12.15pm)

**No classes during school holidays**

 

Course Location – Learn2 at Rouse Hill Town Centre

 

Learn2 Fee – $80.00 covers room hire, work book purchases and

                      printing costs for duration of term (includes GST)

**Please note – this is a Get Skilled course provided by TAFE NSW Western Sydney Institute**

ADDITIONAL COURSE INFORMATION

 

 

 

This course will offer students an Introduction into

MYOB Accounting, including:

 

Work effectively with others

Use business technology

Process accounts payable and receivable

Prepare, match and process receipts

Process payment documentation

 

 

 

Please Note: Upon completion of the above mentioned units, students will receive a transcript

from TAFE NSW Western Sydney Institute showing the units they have completed.

The transcript will also show further units that will need to be completed to gain a

Certificate III in Financial Services (Course Number – 11326)

 

This course will be run subject to the availability of resources and sufficient demand.

 

 

 

It is important that prospective students are able to commit to the full term (8 weeks),

as well as making arrangements to arrive promptly and attend

during the course hours stated.

This course is designed for people who want to improve their report and essay writing skills.

 

On successful completion of this course the student should be able to:

·         Learn how to set out a report or essay

·         Plan learning strategies and apply critical thinking skills

·         Develop and use research skills and techniques

·         Learn how to reference a report

·         Understand plagiarism and related legal issues

 

 

3 Saturdays only

9.30am to 1.30pm

COST: The TAFENSW fee for this course is $231.00. If you are receiving a Centrelink benefit then the Concession fee of $53.00 may be required. TAFENSW does not accept cash.
